Dear ISRC:
A combination of season's spirit and the efforts of a couple of caring
people came together this past holiday to help a special child. Trin
and Dave from the Snake River Bros. Club came to the aide of a young girl
with special needs.
A 26-month-old girl with Periventricular Leukomalasis
living in Southern Idaho came to their attention as someone that could
use help. They put out the call for help, and NORCO MEDICAL Vice-President
Kevin Joplin answered. Mr. Joplin, who has been a generous supporter
of the Respiratory Therapy field, answered the call by donating a special
wheelchair for this child. The wheelchair, a Hoyer lift, and other
needed items were delivered by Trin and Dave to a very grateful family.
As a member of both ISRC and Snake River Bros.,
I felt compelled to share this story of giving and say thanks to Trin,
Dave, and Kevin--a selfless trio helping those in need.
